เมื่อวันที่ ๓ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๕๗ นายปิยภักดิ์ ศรีเจริญ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้พบหารือกับคณะผู้แทนสมาคมผู้ปกครองนักเรียนไทยมุสลิมที่ได้รับทุนรัฐบาลมาเลเซียมาศึกษาในระดับมัธยมศึกษาที่มาเลเซีย โดยมีผู้แทนกระทรวงศึกษาธิการมาเลเซียเข้าร่วมหารือด้วย ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้แทนสมาคมผู้ปกครองได้ขอบคุณสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ที่ได้ร่วมให้การดูแลทุกข์สุขของนักเรียนไทยในมาเลเซียเป็นอย่างดี และทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือกันเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนไทยในระดับที่สูงขึ้น รวมถึงการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนและแนะแนวให้แก่นักเรียนไทยในมาเลเซียด้วย

 

On 3 November 2014, Mr. Piyapak Sricharoen, Minister-Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, met with representatives of the association of parents of Thai students who have received Malaysian Government scholarship to study in Malaysian secondary schools. During the meeting, which was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education Malaysia, the parents expressed their appreciation towards the Embassy for its role in taking care of the lives of the students while in Malaysia. The two sides then discussed about the role of each respective side in guiding the students' career in higher education after finishing secondary schools in Malaysia.
